Zim on returning from DL

Jun 17, 2011, 7:24 PM EDT

Ryan Zimmerman is back from the disabled list and he’s back blogging for CSNwashington.com.

In his latest post, the Nationals third baseman talks about the challenge of getting back to mid-season form, the excitement of watching his Virginia baseball team reaching the College World Series and provides some info about his upcoming “Night at the Park” charity event at Nationals Park.

WOW I read that wrong, "Zim returning on DL." For a second, I froze. I hope Ryan can now be convinced that this franchise is actually going forward and might contend next season if management is little aggressive during off-season. Then sign him to an extension.

He has always been a vital piece to Washington’s infield, and he is the face of their young franchise. Zimmerman is set to make his return to the Nationals tomorrow, Tuesday June 14th.

I enjoyed following the whole entry, I always thought one of the main things to count when you write a blog is learning how to complement the ideas with images, that's exploiting at the maximum the possibilities of a ciber-space! Good work on this entry!
