Mark was in studio last night for two segments in Geico SportsNet Central alongside new anchor Keli Fulton. The first is a quick preview of Nationals’ spring training looking at the biggest questions facing the team.

Mark covers a variety of subjects including Bryce Harper and Stephen Strasburg’s health, and Matt Williams’ first spring training as manager.

Check that one out here:

In the second clip, Mark breaks down Alex Rodriguez’ decision to drop his lawsuit against Major League Baseball:

Regarding intensity: As a member of the club myself, I say let’s not forget that Davy is an elderly gentleman so I understand if he’s not as intense as managers half his age. As for biggest questions in camp, I’m gong to be looking — like everyone else, I suspect — at Zimm’s throwing and Harper’s confidence.

PS: Anyone else noticed that over the last year, Mark has really stepped up his TV game?

Another big question for ST should be Adam LaRoche’s hitting. How does he look physically ….. his weight in particular? But the batting average is something I will be watching, particularly when the regular season begins. I just don’t see Matt Williams being as patient as Davey was, regardless of ALR’s first half hitting woes. Williams is the kinda guy that will say that, if he only hits after the AS break, then he should start after the AS break.
